Lachlan McLaren
Clinical Psychologist Registrar

I’ve been practicing as a psychologist since 2011. My commitment to mental health care comes from years of working with people across both clinical and organisational settings, and from seeing how much relief and confidence the right support can offer. I’m particularly passionate about helping adults and adolescents (15+) navigate the challenges that can derail day-to-day wellbeing.
My clinical focus includes anxiety disorders, mood concerns such as depression, obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD), sleep difficulties, relationship issues, stress, general life challenges, and substance use concerns. My therapeutic approach is practical, collaborative, and grounded in helping clients understand what’s happening for them and why.
I take pride in adapting therapy to fit each person’s needs, goals, and pace. My aim is to create a space where clients feel understood and can build strategies that support meaningful change in their lives.
