6. AI-assisted clinical documentation

MensPsych clinicians may use AI-assisted clinical documentation tools integrated within our secure practice management systems (including Zanda, Novonote, and Novopsych) to assist with drafting session notes.

 

These tools:

  • Support real-time note drafting only

  • Do not record, store, or retain session audio or transcripts

  • Do not train external AI models using your personal information

  • Produce draft notes that are reviewed, edited, and approved by your psychologist before being saved to your clinical file

 

All clinical records remain within our secure clinical systems.

7. Disclosure of information

We may disclose personal or health information:

  • To other treating health professionals (with your consent)

  • To Medicare, DVA, insurers, or funding bodies for billing and claims

  • To clinical supervisors, with identifying details removed where possible

  • To administrative service providers who support our practice systems

  • Where required or authorised by law, including:

    • Mandatory reporting obligations

    • Court orders or subpoenas

    • To prevent or lessen a serious and imminent threat to health or safety

 

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

8. Storage and security

Your information is stored securely using reputable third-party systems, including:

  • Practice management and clinical record platforms (e.g. Zanda, Novonote, Novopsych, CiView)

  • Secure payment processing systems (e.g. Stripe)

  • Website customer management system

 

We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, or disclosure. Paper records (if any) are securely stored and destroyed in accordance with legal requirements.

You have the right to request access to your personal information and to request corrections if you believe information is inaccurate or incomplete.
