About MensPsych
MensPsych is a psychology practice dedicated to working with men and adolescent boys.
Led by Dr Ian Zajac, Clinical Psychologist and Breakthrough Research Fellow in Suicide Prevention at Flinders University, the clinic provides structured, evidence-based therapy in Adelaide and via telehealth.
Our work focuses on helping men address depression, anxiety, anger, burnout and relationship strain before things reach crisis point.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I Need a Referral?
No. You can book directly. A GP referral is only required if you want to receive a Medicare rebate.
Are sessions confidential?
Absolutely. All sessions are confidential within professional and legal guidelines.
Do you see adolescent boys?
Yes. We work with adolescent boys aged 15+ and young men experiencing mental helath difficulties.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes. Telehealth and Video sessions are available Australia-wide.
Fees & Medicare
Session Fees are $240 (Psychologist), or $280 (Clinical Psychologist).
Medicare rebates are available with a valid Referral from your GP.
You do not need a referral to book an appointment.
Private health rebates may also apply depending on your cover.

MensPsych was created because many men don’t relate to traditional therapy. We work in a practical, straightforward way.
